Attention all New Brunswickers
The Big Oil & Gas mafia also have their eyes on our cherished, food providing, Gulf of St Lawrence. An oil spill in these waters will devastate our local fishing industry, our environment and our economy and contaminate Chaleur Bay for generations.
The Gulf of Mexico's fishing industry, tourism industry, and way of life has been decimated in the name of greed by Big Oil & Gas and it's political puppets and will likely never recover. Don't let our gulf and Chaleur Bay become the next Gulf of Mexico. Visit Dr David Suzuki's site and sign the petition to stop it.

Update April 20, 2012- I'm back and will begin updating the site today in preparation for summer events. I also have hundreds of bad news stories to add to the news archive page.
This fight is far from over and the CITIZENS of New Brunswick WILL ultimately prevail.
KEEP UP THE FIGHT!
JUNE 2 Moncton NB
They say that desperate people do desperate things and evidently governments are no different, as David Alward's conservative government is about to prove to New Brunswickers by allowing hydrofracking in our beautiful province, against the wishes of most New Brunswickers. Essentially what we now have is sitting politicians destroying our province in a desperate attempt to pay off the debt created by the mismanagement of former politicians.
The purpose of this site is NOT to create original content, but to be a one-stop clearing house for hydrofracking information for the concerned citizens of our province. We want to inform New Brunswickers of the many and severe consequences if we go ahead with hydrofracking in our province.
I have not provided any industry related links because as a long time environmentalist I am well aware that these sites are highly biased and consistently dishonest (which I will provide plenty of examples of in my "betrayal" section). You simply can't ask the fox how to best protect the henhouse.
We strongly believe that if New Brunswickers are well informed of the unacceptable consequences of unconventional horizontal hydraulic fracturing, they will want to join the rapidly growing list of cities, towns, and communities that want either a moratorium, or a complete ban on hydraulic fracturing, which is the stance of Frack Free NB.
In my "betrayal" section, I also want to directly challenge the oil and gas industry lies which are commonly used to fool citizens into thinking hydrofracking is safe.
I have nothing but disdain for this industry, in my opinion they are the worlds worst environmental criminals and are directly responsible for the worlds rapidly deteriorating environment and rapid extinction rate. Now they've come up with their most environmentally damaging idea yet, hydrofracking. According to a recent comprehensive Cornell Universuty study, Natural gas from unconventional horizontal hydrofracking is more damaging to the environment than coal. They will do anything they can to prevent a transition to renewable energy and keep us hooked on fossil fuels while they make billions. They are completely dishonest, unethical, and trusted only by fools.
We want to cut through the propaganda of half-truths and outright lies perpetuated by the oil and gas industry and the irresponsible, dishonest politicians who support them and facilitate their environmental crimes against the land.
They try to spin natural gas as a clean "transition fuel", but with unconventional horizontal hydrofracking the only transition will be to a destroyed environment for generations to come.
They are well aware of the environmental damage they will cause.
Don't believe their lies.
I implore all New Brunswick citizens to join our battle against the evil, ethicless corporate invaders here to destroy our beautiful province for profit.
